DILLINGHAM, James S., Obituary

James S. Dillingham, a native of Brewster, died recently in Chelsea. He was 82 years of age. Capt. Benjamin F. Eldridge of Chatham, died suddenly Saturday forenoon, in his 77th year. He was born in East Harwich. Rear Admiral William Bradford died last Wednesday evening at his home in Washington. He was a native of Virginia, but entered the naval service from Missouri in 1825. He was placed on the retired list in 1870. At the time of his death he was, with the exception of Rear Admiral Selfridge, the Senior Rear Admiral of the Navy.
