DROWNED - On Monday week, Russell T. Wilkins of Deering, N.H., a student at Northfield Seminary, was drowned at Sanbornton bridge by being carried over the falls. Three young ladies and three other students were with young Wilkins in the boat when it was swept down the falls, but they were rescued. [New Hampshire Sentinel - Keene, N.H., Jun 1, 1848]
