We the Congregation of the Dutch Church of Greenbush, being desirous that the Preached Word should be dispensed unto us, do agree to pay the sums set to our respective names, to enable the said Consistory to make a call on Rev. E. P. Stimpson to become our Pastor, and do further agree to pay the said sums quarterly or half yearly to enable the said Consistory and there successors to pay our said pastor so long as he shall be our minister. Including our seats the sums to be no less than the seats we now occupy in said church.

Greenbush, Sept. 23, 1834.

Note. The next sheet begins with practically the same preamble as appeared on the first sheet. Most of the signatures on this second sheet are written in lead pencil. It has been copied on two smaller sheets, and as is almost always the case, the copy shows a number of variations in the spelling of the names. The most conspicuous of these changes have been noted, although the two smaller sheets have not been copied. The changes will be found in brackets, beneath the names as they appear in the original list.

Greenbush, Sept. 23, 1834.

The above list to be connected to this for the support of E. P. Stimpson while our pastor.
