1Compare with entry No. 8, page 114; also see note on page 40.
2The name "Milliam" is transcribed as it is written.
3"Wiester" not understood by the editor; it may be "Wooster".
4The name was first written "Bruir"; then an "l" was inserted, making it "Blruir"; probably it was intended to change the name to "Bluir".
5The day of the month written in lead pencil.
6Observe that the aged Mr. Stevenson has already attempted record this marriage on the previous page; and that his mind is not quite clear as to the date.

Note. A piece of the top of a page, containing enough room for one marriage entry, has been cut from the record. Consequently the same part is missing from the page that follows. This appears to be the work of some record mutilator.

The note belonging on page 165 has been omitted there on account of lack of room.

The memorandum appearing below has been added in later years, at the bottom of the first page of the Register of Members. It has been omitted in this copy, from that page, as it is not considered to be a part of the original record, and the information has not been verified from the records of the First Reformed Dutch Church of Albany.

"The above 77 members were dismissed from the First Reformed Church of Albany, which after officers had been chosen constituted the Reformed Protestant (Dutch) Church of Wynantskill.

This was done early in 1794. This present church building had been erected previously, and it is therefore the oldest church in Rensselaer Co."
