- ABER, Petition of Harriet Aber, of Town of Lansing, a minor over age 14. James B. Walker appointed guardian. July 2, 1846.
- ATWATER, Petition of Rachel Atwater on behalf of Willis, Lucy, Darins and Ambrose Atwater, who are minors and heirs mentioned in the will of Jenny Atwater, late of Hector. Moses R. Wright, of Ithaca, was appointed guardian. Aug. 14, 1848.
- BELLIS, Erastus, Alvah and Priscilla Ann Bellis are minors. Jonathan F. Bellis was appointed guardian. Aug. 14, 1848.
- BENSON, Martin L. is a minor under age 14 of Jonathan D. and Betsey Benson, deceased, of the town of Hector. Benjamin Benson, the grandfather, was appointed his guardian. July 3, 1850.
- BERTHRONG, Mary E. Berthrong, of Dryden, is a minor over age 14. Walter H. Swartland, of Cazenovia, Madison County, was appointed guardian. Nov. 24, 1849.
- BISHOP, Hortense R., Fidelfor N., Demetrius O., and Selena F. Bishop, of the Town of Dryden, are children under age 14 of Anson Bishop, deceased. Delinda Bishop, of Town of Dryden, was appointed guardian. Mar. 6, 1850.
- BLOOM, Mary F. is a minor over age 14. William Bruyn, of Town of Ithaca, was appointed her guardian. Sept. 2, 1847.
- BODLE, In the last will of Nathan Bodle, of Hector, deceased, are mentioned Mary Elizabeth and James Bodle, who are minors and heirs under age 21. Stephen B. Cushing was appointed guardian. May 30, 1848.
- BOYNTON, Petition of Henry Boynton, of Town of Groton, father, on behalf of Harriet E. Boynton, a minor under age 14. Henry and John Boynton were appointed guardians. July 25, 1848.
- BROWN, Abigal R. and Stephen Brown, administrators of the estate of John Brown, late of Newfield, deceased, request a meeting in the matter of the final settlement of accounts of John and state that Susan, Abram, Holden, and Mary A. Brown are heirs and minors of John. Harvey A. Dour was appointed guardian. May 1, 1849.
- BROWN, In the last will of Aaron Brown, late of town of Lansing, deceased, one of the heirs mentioned is Aaron Brown, a minor. George D. Burs was appointed guardian. Aug. 29, 1850.
- BROWN, Luther, Caroline, Harriet R., and David E. Brown are minor children under age 14 of Harriet R. and David E. Brown of town of Lansing. Rebecca Brown was appointed guardian. Aug. 24, 1850.

- BURN, BROWN, MANNING, In the last will of Alitha Burn, late wife of Christopher Burn, four of the heirs of the deceased who are minors are William S. Burn, Samuel B. and Mary E. Brown, and Christopher Manning. Moses R. Wright was appointed guardian. Dec. 31, 1849.
- BUTTON, Petition of Ada W. Button, of Danby, a minor over age 14. Helen R. Dakin was appointed her guardian. Oct. 30, 1848
- CAMP, Petition of Sarah P. Camp, mother, on behalf of her children: Anna S., a minor over age 14, and John Henry and Frederick Camp, minors under age 14. Herman Camp, of Town of Ulysses, was appointed guardian. Sept. 11, 1848.
- CASE, Chester performed his duties as guardian of Joseph R. Case to the satisfaction of the court and he is discharged as guardian from all liability. June 18, 1850.
- CASE, Homer and Joseph Case are minor children of Adam Case, deceased. Joseph B. Case, the guardian, is to be discharged from all responsibility. Dec. 28, 1848
- CHAMBERS, NIVE, In the last will of David McMaster, of Town of Dryden, deceased, are heirs and minors, Angelina Chambers, of Pennsylvania, John G. Chambers, of Illinois, and Margaret and Mary Nive, of Steuben County. Josaphat D. B. Baslmuch was appointed guardian which was approved by John McMaster. Dec. 6, 1847.
- COATS, Petition to remove Joseph Coats as guardian of Susannah, Isaac, and Jane Coats and should consider Peter A. Coats, Benjamin Manning, or Ephraim Manning who are next of kin of the three minors. Dec. 19, 1849.
- COATS, Susannah, Isaac, and Jane Coats are children of Philip B. Coats and Elizabeth Coats, late of the Town of Hector, and they are minors under age 14. Joseph Coats appointed guardian. Oct. 5, 1849.
- CODDINGTON, In the last will of Isaac Hollister, late of the Town of Caroline, two of the heirs of the deceased, Arthur and Jane Coddington, are minors. David Coddington was appointed their guardian. Oct. 31, 1848.
- COLEMAN, Petition of Louisa M. Coleman, who is a minor over age 14, and a petition of David A. Coleman, the father of Fanny M. Coleman, a minor under the age of 14. David M. Coleman and John Kinmon were appointed guardians of Louisa and Fanny. Apr. 27, 1849.
- CONACEB, Caroline E. Conaceb, a minor who was age 21 on Oct. 2, 1845. Silvanus Saruld, who was her guardian, is now discharged from her guardianship. July 14, 1846.
- CONRAD, George E. and James H. Conrad are sons of Anson Conrad, of Town of Ithaca, and they are minors under age 14. Anson Conrad appointed guardian. July 19, 1849.
- CONRAD, In the last will of Margaret Blythe, late of the Town of Ithaca, deceased, two of the heirs of the deceased are Edward and James Conrad, both minors. Anson Conrad, of Ithaca, was appointed guardian. May 4, 1849.
- CONRAD, Petition of Jacob G. Conrad, a minor over age 14, who will be age 21 on June 12, 1853. Clinton Bowker, Esq. appointed guardian. June 24, 1846.
- CONRAD, The last will of Joseph Speed, deceased, was admitted to probate. Three of the heirs, who are minors, are Joseph S., George and Caroline M. Conrad. Vincent Conrad, of Village of Ithaca, was appointed their guardian. Jan. 6, 1848.
- CORBIN, James Lewis, a minor, one year old on Jan. 19, 1846. His guardian, John O. Henning, wants his letter of guardianship to be revoked and he removed as guardian. June 2, 1846. Lyman Corbin, an uncle, of Dryden, and Eunice Corbin, grandmother, want Andrew S. Bennet appointed his new guardian. Andrew was appointed guardian until James is age 14 on Jan. 19, 1859. June 6, 1846.
- CORWIN, In the last will of John C. Corwin, late of Town of Ithaca, deceased. Two of the heirs of the deceased are Theodore and George Corwin who are minors. George D. Burs was appointed guardian. June 20, 1849.
- CURRY, Lewis H. Wyckoff, administrator in will of Joseph Wyckoff, deceased, late of Enfield, makes application for final settlement of his accounts. Warren, Joseph, Harriet, Dexter, Alvina, Hannah and Mary Curry are heirs of the deceased and are minors. William B. Curry and Marcus C. Riggs were appointed special guardians. May 5, 1849
- CURTES, KELLOGG, PATCHEN, ROSBROOKS, Theodocia Colegrove's last will was admitted to probate. Heirs of the deceased were Hannale Curtes; Mary, Sarah Ann and David Kellogg; John and Polly Patchen and Emily and Royal Rosbrooks, all minors under age 21. Abram Cook, of Newfield, was appointed their guardian. May 4, 1847.
- CURTES, KELLOGG, PATCHEN, ROSBROOKS, William Colegrove's last will was admitted to probate. Heirs of the deceased were Hannale Curtes; Mary, Sarah Ann and David Kellogg; Polly and John Patchen; and Emily and Royal Rosbrooks, all minors under age 21. John W. Gott was appointed guardian. Jan. 29, 1847.
- DARBY, Abigail Cordelia Darby is a minor under 21 years. Her father, Thomas Darby, of the Town of Dryden, was appointed her guardian until age 21, Sept. 24, 1846.
- DAVIS, Petition of Caleb Davis, grandfather, on behalf of Caleb W. and Jacob Davis, minors under age 14 and children of Jacob Davis, deceased. Augustus Sherill was appointed guardian. Apr. 18, 1848.
- DAVIS, Petition of William Davis, a minor of the age 14, from the Town of Ithaca. Augustus Sherill was appointed guardian. Feb. 26, 1848.
- DENTON, JACKSON, In the last will of John Denton, late of the Town of Danby, are listed four of his heirs who are under age 21, who are Delia and Drake W. Denton and Matilda and Ann Jackson. George Jackson, of Danby, and Moses R. Wright were appointed guardians. May 20, 1848.
- DEYO, Levi P., of Danby, is a minor over age 14. John King, of the Town of Ithaca, was appointed his guardian. Sept. 23, 1848.
- DICKISON, Citation issued to Joseph D., Mary E., Catharine F., and Asa Dickison, who are minors, requiring them appear in court Feb. 18 to shoe cause why Peter DuBois should not be liberty to resign his trust as guardian of the minors. Notice of proceedings was given to Susan M. Sullivan, the minors' mother. Feb. 7, 1850.
- DICKISON, Petition of Susan M. Dickison, mother of the children of David Dickison, late of Town of Ulysses, are Joseph D. Mary E., Catharine F. and Asa C. Dickison, who are all minors under age 14. Peter DuBois, of Ulysses, was appointed guardian. Mar. 20, 1849.
- DOWNING, In the last will of Thomas Downing, late of the Town of Ithaca, two of the heirs of the deceased, who are minors, are Sarah E. and Caroline L. Downing. Benjamin G. Ferris, of Ithaca, appointed guardian. June 22, 1849
- DUDLEY, EARSHY, Humphery D. and Lucy Taber, executors of the will of Humphery Taber, late of the Town of Enfield, mention that five of the heirs of the deceased are James, William and Lewis Dudley and Eliosa and Julia Earshy, who are all minors. Marcus C. Riggs was appointed their guardian. Oct. 8, 1848.
- DUDLEY, Petition of Fanny Dudley and David Van Kink, executors of will of George Dudley, late of Newfield, deceased, to mortgage, lease or sell so much of the real estate of deceased to settle debts and setting forth that Percival Smith Dudley, Emeline Dudley, Amanda Dudley and Susanny Dudley are children, heirs and minors of the deceased. Abram Dudley, of Town of Newfield, was appointed guardian. Jan. 17, 1844.
- EATON, Heirs are to report for a meeting in the final settlement of accounts of Nelson Eaton, deceased, by the guardian. Henry, Francis, Mary, James and Alvale Eaton are minor children of the deceased. John Mitchell, of Ithaca, was appointed their guardian. Mar. 13, 1847.
- ELY, Ellsworth filed a receipt and acknowledgments of satisfaction and discharges Augustus Ely as his guardian. Jan. 30, 1850.
- ENGLISH, In the last will of Hezekiah English, late of Dryden, deceased, three of the heirs who are minors are Lewis, Joseph, and Sarah Ann English. Moses R. Wright was appointed guardian. Feb. 13, 1850.
- FINTON, The administrator of the estate of Williams R. Finton, late of the Town of Hector, request meeting for final settlement of his accounts. Two of the heirs of deceased are John and Luther Finton, who are minors. Marcus C. Riggs, of Ithaca, appointed guardian. July 16, 1849.
- FULTON, Charlotte A. and Mary Abigail Fulton are children of Sally Hopkins, deceased, and they are minors. Thomas J. Fulton, their father, was appointed their guardian. Sept. 11, 1846.
- GILLON, In the last will of William Gillon, of Newfield, deceased, are mentioned his heirs and minors, John, Jane, David and Emeline Gillon. Moses R. Maybel was appointed guardian. Mar. 16, 1848.
- GRAY, LARRISON, In the last will of Nathaniel Gray, late of Enfield, deceased, four of the heirs of the deceased, who are minors, are Naomi Gray and Naomi, Anna, and Amanda Larrison. Moses R. Wright was appointed guardian. Feb. 16, 1850.
- GUTHRIE, In proving the last will of John Guthrie, deceased, it states that Lavina, John and William Nelson Guthrie are interested in the will and are minors under age 21. Nathan Benson Esq. was appointed their guardian for the sole purpose of taking care of their interest in the proceedings of the will. Apr. 17, 1847.
- HALL, LANDON, Emeline Hall, of Tompkins County, and Olin and Mary Landon, of Jackson, Michigan, are heirs and next of kin of Leonard Hall, deceased, and all are minors under age 21. Caleb B. Drake, of Ithaca, was appointed guardian. Feb. 23, 1848.
- HAMBLIN, Petition of Mary and Elizabeth Hamblin who are minors over age 14. Stickle D. Hamblin, of Dryden, brother of Elizabeth, would like Samuel Rowland to be guardian of the minors. Samuel Rowland was appointed guardian until the minors are age 14 which will be for Elizabeth on May 6, 1848, and for Mary on Sept. 14, 1849. Apr. 7, 1847.
- HAMILTON, Arthur S. and Mary I. Hamilton of Lansing are children of John W. Hamilton and both minors under age 14. John W. Hamilton was appointed guardian. Mar. 30, 1850.
- HANFORD, Gershome Hanford's will was admitted to probate. His infant children, under the age of 21 years, were Isaac, Irus, Nancy, Wariece, Hiram and Joel Hanford. Chauncey G. Heath was appointed their guardian. Feb. 16, 1847.
- HARGIN, Petition of Mark J. Hargin, father of Mark Hargin, a minor under age of 14 years, of Town of Lansing. Isaac Brown was appointed guardian. May 14, 1849.
- HARGIN, Petition of Mark J. Hargin, of Lansing, father, on behalf of Charles Hargin, a minor son under age 14. Daniel Baker was appointed guardian. May 19, 1849.
- HATCH, Deborah E. is a minor over age 14. John M. Grimes, her brother, was appointed her guardian until she reaches age 21 on July 11, 1847. William Grimes and Edward D. Hatch executed a bond for her. May 26, 1847.
- HELLER, Calvin B. is a minor over age 14 and he will be age 21 on Mar. 23, 1853. His father, Jesse Heller, was appointed guardian, June 23, 1847.
- HELLER, Catharine and Louisa Heller are minors under age 14. Their father, Jesse Heller, of Lansing, was appointed guardian until they are age 14, which will be on Aug. 7, 1848, for Catharine and on July 5, 1850, for Louisa. June 23, 1847.
- HOLDEN, Petition of Samuel Benjamin and John H. Holden, administrators of the estate of John S. Holden, deceased, in the matter of the sale of the real estate of the deceased. They state that Nelson and Mary Holden are two of the children of the deceased under the age of 21. Ephraim Saban was appointed guardian. Feb. 17, 1845.
- HOLLINGSWORTH, Susan G., of Town of Ithaca, is an infant child who will be 21 years old on July 16, 1851. John Lelover was appointed guardian, Nov. 28, 1846.
- HOLMAN, Charles K., of Town of Ithaca, is a minor under age 14. His father, Jonas Holman, was appointed his guardian until Charles is age 14 which will be on Feb. 17, 1854. Aug. 15, 1848.
- HUMPHERY, In the last will of Charles Humphery, late of Town of Ithaca, deceased, two of the heirs who are minors are Charles and Sarah Humphery. Samuel Cuttenden Jr. was appointed guardian. Aug. 29, 1850.
- IRVING, Petition of Peter Lounsbury, on behalf of minors, Rebecca, George and Rachel Irving, who are heirs listed in the last will of Anthony Hashouck, late of the Town of Dryden. Moses R. Wright was appointed guardian. Sept. 5, 1848.
- JACOBS, Sally is a minor under age 14. Israel Jacobs, of Lansing, her father, was appointed guardian. June 2, 1847.
- JAYCOX, Caroline M. Jaycox and Richard Swartwood, administrators of estate of William Jaycox, deceased, state that Mary C., Sarah Emily, James Augustus, Joseph Wallace and Barnard Jaycox are the children of the deceased and all under age 21. Joseph B. Hamilton, of Hector, was appointed guardian. Apr. 11, 1847.
- KATER, WIGHT, In the last will of Thomas Berry, deceased, three of the heirs mentioned are minors Fanny Kater, Thomas Wight, and Sniffen Wight. Marcus C. Riggs of Ithaca was appointed guardian. June 15, 1850.
- KELLOGG, Caroline Trapp, wife of Luneau Trapp, and widow of Jasper Kellogg, deceased, made application for admeasurement of her right of dower in the land of Jasper. She states that Augusta Marie and William Wallace Kellogg are children of the deceased who are under age 21. David D. Spencer, Esq. was appointed their guardian in the land transactions. Mar. 25, 1847.
- KELLOGG, The last will of Amanda Kellogg, deceased, states that two of her heirs, Augusta Marie and William W. Kellogg, are minors under age 21. Samuel Turn, of Newfield, was appointed their guardian. Mar. 15, 1847.
- KIRBY, John H., William H., and Samuel Kirby, of the Town of Enfield, are minors over age 14. Sarah Kirby was appointed guardian. Aug. 7, 1849.
- KRUM, In the last will of Michael Coons, deceased, late of the Town of Caroline, one of the heirs is Catharine Krum, who is a minor. Marcus C. Riggs was appointed guardian. Mar. 29, 1849
- LAMBERT, In the last will of Levi Lambert, deceased, his heirs are Edmund J., Edson M., Mary A., Charles M. and Daniel E. Lambert, and all are minors. Stephen B. Cushing was appointed guardian. July 7, 1847.
- LAMONT, In the last will of Archibald Lamont, of Town of Dryden, deceased, are heirs and minors, Catharine, Archibald B. and Jane Lamont, of the Town of Dryden. Samuel Crittenden, of Village of Ithaca, was appointed guardian. Nov. 1847.
- LAMONT, Petition of Archibald B. Lamont, who is a minor of age 14, of the Town of Dryden. Alvin Cady, of Town of Dryden, appointed guardian. Feb. 8, 1848.
- LITTLE, Warren M., of Groton, is an infant over age 14. Virgil Hatch, of Town of Groton, appointed guardian. Jan. 16, 1847.
- LORRIMER, William, Samuel and Catisla Ann Lorrimer are three of said children, and minors, of Hugh Lorrimer, deceased, and Sally Lorrimer, widow. Robert ---ardy was appointed guardian. Dec. 28, 1846.
- MACK, In the last will of Ebenezer Mack, late of Town of Ithaca, deceased, two heirs who are minors are Elianor D. and Elvina W. Mack. Lafayette Freman appointed guardian. Aug. 14, 1849.
- MACKISON, In the last will of Hugh Thompson, late of Town of Dryden, deceased, five of the heirs of the deceased who are minors are Mary E., James H., Augustus H., Mary A., and Charles F. Mackison. Moses R. Wright was appointed guardian. Dec. 7, 1849.
- MANDEVILLE, In the last will of Surviah C. Mandeville, late of the town of Danby, deceased, is mentioned that Lyman Mandeville, one of the heirs of the deceased, who is a minor. Moses R. Wright was appointed guardian. July 11, 1850.
- MC GREGOR, James H., of the Town of Ithaca, is a minor. Levi Newman was appointed. Feb. 21, 1849.
- Mc KEE, The will of Robert McKee, deceased, was admitted to probate. Thomas and Oliver McKee are heirs of the deceased and minors. Thomas McElheny was appointed guardian. June 14, 1847.
- McARTHER, The last will of Daniel McArther, of Dryden, deceased, was admitted to probate. Jenny and Benjamin McArther are minors under age 21. Ezra Weaver, of Ithaca, was appointed guardian. May 22, 1847.
- MCCUTCHEN, Elizabeth J., Rachel A., and George McCutchen are children and minors under age 14 of Sarah McCutchen. Ira B. Meeks appointed guardian. May 27, 1849.
- MCINTOSH, Mary J., of Dryden, is a minor over age 14 and daughter of Hannah A. McIntosh, late of Town of Ithaca, deceased. Her father is David McIntosh. Charles W. Smith was appointed guardian. Jan. 15, 1849.

- MCKINNEY/MANNING, In the last will of Lydia Manning, of Town of Ithaca, deceased, are listed her heirs and next of kin who are minors, Lydia and Sarah McKinney and Elizabeth, Vaughn and Stanley Manning. Joseph McKinney was appointed guardian. Mar. 3, 1848.
- MEAD, Petition of Velonia Mead, mother of her minor children, Levi Mead, who is over age 14, and Henry Mead, who is under age 14. Levi will be age 21 on Apr. 8, 1852, and Henry will be age 21 on Jan. 19, 1855. Isaac Day, of Ithaca, was appointed guardian. Feb. 29, 1848.
- MEAD, William B. and Emily Mead are minors under age 14. Their father, John Mead, of Lansing, was appointed guardian. June 22, 1848.
- MILLER, Rensselaer and Minerva J. Miller, of Town of Lansing, are minors under age 14. Thomas Robertson, of Lansing, appointed guardian. Sept. 28, 1849
- MIX, Esther is a minor under age 14. Her uncle, Miles C. Mix, petitioned court that Daniel Williams be appointed her guardian, as her mother, Fanny Mix, was not a suitable person to act as guardian. Daniel was appointed. July 7, 1847.
- MOE, In the last will of Hiram Moe, late of the Town of Lansing, deceased, four of the heirs of deceased who are minors are Mary E., Susan J. H., Sherman B., and Alfred L. Moe. Moses R. Wright, of Ithaca, was appointed guardian. Nov. 12, 1849.
- MOE, Sherman B. and Susan J. H. Moe are minors over age 14, of the Town of Lansing. Erastus C. Moe was appointed guardian. Mar. 13, 1850.
- NORRIS, Petition filed by Joshua Warfield, her grandfather, for Catharine Elvira Norris, a minor infant under age 14. William Lyman Warfield, an uncle, of Town of Groton, was appointed guardian. June 6, 1846.
- NORTHROP, Oliver Ellsworth is a minor and son of Job Northrop. Amos Northrop was appointed special guardian. Sept. 30, 1865.
- OWEN, In the last will of Henry U. Owen, late of Stockton in the State of California, deceased, three of the heirs who are minors are Jonathan, Alexander, and Marcus Owen. Samuel W. Smith of Ithaca was appointed guardian. Oct. 5, 1850.
- PEASE, Charity Pease filed a petition on behalf of her children, Nancy and Mary Ann, who are minors under age 14, and wants Allen Pease, of Town of Ulysses, appointed their guardian and he was. Nancy Pease was age 13 years on Dec. 9 last, and Mary Ann Pease was 11 years on June 23, last. Nov. 1, 1847.
- PEASE, Petition of David P. Pease, of Town of Hector, a minor over age 14. John Taylor, of same town, was appointed guardian. Nov. 1, 1847.
- PEASE, The administrator of the estate of Israel Pease, late of the Town Hector, for meeting for final settlement of his accounts. Three of the heirs of deceased, who are minors, are David P., Nancy, and Mary Ann Pease. Marcus C. Riggs was appointed guardian. July 17, 1849.
- POTTS, In the last will of William Potts, late of Town of Hector, deceased, four of the heirs of the deceased are Mary J., Sarah Ann, Eliza E., and Helen F. Potts and they are minors. Moses R. Wright, of Ithaca, was appointed guardian. Oct. 9, 1849.

- RANSTON, Hyerrich and Jesse English, administrators of estate of William English, in the final settlement of his accounts, mentions that Bathsheba Ann, Philo and Horace Ranston are heirs of the deceased and minors. Caleb B. Drake, of Ithaca, was appointed guardian. Nov. 6, 1848.
- RAYNOR, Mary M. is a minor under age 14 and daughter of Elizabeth Raynor, of Enfield. Samuel Yaph was appointed guardian. Feb. 11, 1850.
