BIESER, Kate, Obituary

DIED, Mrs. Kate Bieser, wife of Henry Bieser, living 4-1/2 miles northwest of town, died Tuesday night, August 10th, and was buried in the Bloomingdale cemetery today. She had been a sufferer from asthma for years. [Barton County Democrat, (Great Bend, Kan.), Thursday, August 19, 1897]

SCOTT, Mr., Obituary

Mr. Scott, an aged man and an old time resident of Barton county, died Sunday night at his home a few miles northeast of town. He has been very feeble for several months past and his death was not unexpected. Funeral services were held at the residence Tuesday at ten o'clock by Rev. Stanley of the Friends church and the remains were laid to rest in the Bloomingdale cemetery. [Barton County Democrat, (Great Bend, Kan.), Thursday, April 29, 1897]


WELSH, Mrs. Joseph, Obituary

After a long and tedious illness, which was born with womanly grace and christian fortitude, Mrs. Welsh, wife of Joseph WElsh of Claflin, died on Tuesday, the 21st inst. Funeral services were held on Thursday, the 23d, and the remains interred in the Claflin cemetery. The community extends deepest sympathy to the bereaved family.
