CARLETON, Will, Obituary

Will Carleton died at the family home on E. 12th St. yesterday morning, death being due to pernicious anemia from which he had been a sufferer for a long time. Mr. Carleton was 46 years of age and leaves to mourn his loss his wife, two daughters and a son, the latter now being in France as a member of Company C. He was an engineer at the plant of the Great Bend Water & Electric Co. and was a man highly esteemed by his employers and all who knew him and had many friends who will regret to hear of his death.

Funeral services will be held tomorrow morning at 10 o'clock from the home. [Barton County Democrat, (Great Bend, Kan.), Thursday, November 7, 1918, p.2.]


SCHUMACHER, Infant, Obituary

BABY SCHUMACHER
The many friends of Mr. and Mrs. W. C. Schumacher, of Claflin, will be sorry indeed to hear of the death of their little baby boy, which occurred at the family home Friday morning, after an illness of some duration, due to liver complaint.
