Oil Pumper Leaves Brother In Elmira
Wellsville, Nov, 19 - Joseph Angell, of Scio, died at the Wellsville hospital Saturday. Mr. Angell was an oil pumper and had been a resident of the town of Amity for the past seven years. He was born in Cameron on April 10, 1866, the son of Frank and Charlotte Van Gorder. He was married 294 years ago to Carrie Thomas, who survives him, toether with the following children, all living at home: Earle, Sarah, Cornelia, Fannie and Velma. He is also survived by two brothers, Charles Angell of Elmira, and Alonso Angell of Cameron. The funeral was held in Scio Tuesday from the Methodist church, the Rev. Phillip Hedrick officiating.
