BARNES, Minerva, Obituary

On the 1st instant, Minerva, wife of Jacob L. Barnes, and youngest sister of R. H. Best, of this city, aged 26 years. [The Advocate, Buffalo, NY, Thursday, March 7, 1850, p.3]


BOWEN, Wm. Obituary

Mr. Wm. Bowen, a farmer of Deerfield, in Oneida county, was killed on Thursday last. He was riding home from ploughing, on his horse, when he fell, and his foot became entangled in the harness, the horse dragging him along. When found he was horribly mangled. FULLER, Louisa, Obituary

Mrs. Louisa Fuller, wife of Rev. William O. Fuller, of Attica, N.Y., departed this life in Lyndon, Vt., May 30, after a protracted illness, in the triumphs of faith. Her sufferings had been great for considerable length of time. But her mind, which was the subject of much gloom and despondency for years, became exceeding joyful in the Lord. All needful grace was given her in the time of trail; and in the pains of death she was victorious. [The Advocate, Buffalo, NY, Thursday, July 11, 1850, p.3.]
