BEACH, Susan, Obituary

Mrs. Susan Beach, of Throop, a village near Auburn, died on Tuesday at the age of 109 years. She was born in Hull, England. She came to this country in 1799. [The evening world. (New York, N.Y.), Jan. 5, 1888]

KING, Oliver, Obituary

Oliver K. King, who was for eighteen years Secretary of the Union Club, died at Glenwood Springs, Col., on Tuesday, at the age of fifty years. Mr. King's death was due to a cold which he caught while driving forty miles across country to make the arrangements for the funeral of his nephew, who died of a fever two weeks age. Mr. King had been in Colorado for his health since December, 1886.

Mr. King was in business in this city until 1876, when he retired.
