Charles Buckbee, 43 years old, of No. 737 166th street, the Bronx, died yesterday in the Flushing Hospital of a fractured skill received Sunday when an automobile in which he was riding struck a tree on Fresh Meadow Road in Flushing, Queens. John J. Hanrahan, of No. 43 East Polk avenue, Corona, Queens, was killed in the accident and two other men were hurt. [The New York Times, (New York, NY), Friday, March 10, 1916, p. 5.]
