DIED, At Springfield, on the 10th instant, Miss Ruth Herrick, in the 20th year of her age, daughter of Mr. Francis Herrick, of Leray, Jefferson county. She died of quick consumption. She endured the pain of her disease, and beheld her dissolution approach with perfect composure. She was ever a dutiful daughter and an amiable associate. The benevolence of her disposition endeared her to all with whom she was acquainted; she bid fair to become an ornament to the society to which she might belong; but alas!
