BUCK, Chester A. Obituary

Sept. 30, Chester A. Buck, sixty-one, one of Lansdale's most prominent citizens, died late last night at his home on Columbia avenue. He had been in ill health for six months. He was majority leader of Lansdale borough council, vice president of Lansdale Board of Trade, vice president of the Fairmount Fire Company of Lansdale, past dictator of the Lansdale Moose Lodge, a member of the Elks Lodge, former chairman of the Lansdale soldiers' memorial committee and prominently identified with all borough activities. Formerly of Philadelphia, Mr. Buck has lived in Lansdale for twelve years. He was president of the Decatur County Livestock Company of Philadelphia.
