Michigan State Census Records
Michigan State census were taken every ten years starting 1854 to 1904 and conducted a partial census in 1837, 1845 and 1888.
The 1837 Michigan state census does not include the individual names, but gives the number of males and females, number of deaf and dumb, children under 10, children 10 - 21, those of 21 - 45, those of 41 - 75, and those over 75 years of age, and the number of colored persons.
